The Film & Television category on the iOS platform saw varied trends in the second quarter of 2024. Here's an overview of the top applications according to the latest data from Sensor Tower.

Star+ experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at $12.7M in early May before a sharp decline to $2M by the end of June. Downloads also saw a decreasing trend, starting at 3.6M and ending the quarter at 508K. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a high of 49.2K in mid-April dropping to 39.5K by late June.

For Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies, revenue showed a generally increasing trend, starting at $7.1M and reaching $8.9M in mid-June, with a slight dip to $7.6M at the quarter's close. Downloads saw highs and lows, with 11.4M in the first week of April and later peaking at 8.5M in mid-June. Weekly active users consistently grew from 61.2K to 83K over the quarter.

Disney+ revenue started at $5.9M and saw a significant jump to $12.2M in the last week of June. Downloads began at 2.2M, declining mid-quarter, but surged to 9.4M in the final week. Active users started at 29.8K, dropped slightly mid-quarter, and then increased to 41.8K by the end of June.
